Allegiant Airlines Donates October Proceeds From “Drink Pink” In-Flight Beverages to Breast Cancer Awareness
Las Vegas based air carrier Allegiant Airlines is looking to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer this month. On all flights in October, Drink Pink beverages will be sold with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The drinks include:
- Minute Maid Pink Lemonade ($2)
- Jose Cuervo Pink Lemonade Margarita ($7)
Additionally, flight crews will be decked out in special pink uniform accents to show their support for the cause and raise awareness.
"Our flight crew members love October because this is such a meaningful cause to them. Either they've been personally affected by breast cancer or they have a friend or family member who has fought the battle. Every year, they hear stories first-hand from our customers about how grateful they are for the chance to support the cause simply by buying a pink drink or making a donation on board. We are very proud to help our partners at the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the fight against this terrible disease," said Allegiant's Senior Vice President of Flight Crew Operations Tracy Tulle.
October is breast cancer awareness month. More information can be found at the National Breast Cancer Foundation's website.
